WhatsApp rolls out new features

WhatsApp, the leading instant messaging client for smartphone users has rolled out some new features for android users. A few days ago, WhatsApp introduced the feature of recording and sending six second animated GIF videos.
WhatsApp rolls out new features-1Recently, WhatsApp quietly rolled out an update which allows people to tag others in WhatsApp Groups using @ and their name. The new tagging feature means that users may no longer be able to mute notifications in Groups. As in the case, a user has been tagged; he or she will still receive the Group’s notification.

New Features:

The Facebook-owned WhatsApp has brought up new features like Snapchat-like drawing function and selfie flash on the beta version of its Android app.

The Snapchat-like drawing feature enables users to do Snapchat-like editing and drawing on photo and videos. The new editing tools appear whenever a photo or video is shared. The update also allows Android users to add emojis to express themselves.  The users can sketch on top of photos and includes emoji icons, stickers, and personalized text overlies.
WhatsApp rolls out new features-2The selfie flash allows the users to snap brighter selfies in low light. With the help of built-in camera interface of WhatsApp, one can click brighter photos in dim light.

The features are expected to be rolled out to Apple iOS users too soon. However, this features only applicable to the Smartphones featuring built-in camera of WhatsApp.

A Youtuber convinced people to drill a 3.5mm slot into their Iphone 7, and they really did it!

WhatsApp rolls out new features-3As we all know Apple has recently released their new iPhone 7 which comes without a headphone jack. Making it probably the first phone which took a daring step to completely remove the earphone jack. However, this has got mixed reaction worldwide. Some people were sheerly disappointed because of this move. And targeting such people, an YouTuber made a video of drilling a hole into iPhone 7.

YouTuber from channel named TechRax decided to make a innocuous DIY video, showing how to drill a 3.5mm hole into iPhone, so that you can insert your headphone and listen to music. This was done in a good humour, but some people took it for granted and actually did it.

The video received over 13 million views however, the reception was mixed.

Some people posted comments on the same video asking what to do after drilling. You can see their doubts in the comments on the same video.

The video was certainly a prank and some people actually fell for it. And this is why they say not to trust everything that you see on Internet.Again, the above video is fake and done in a good humour. They’re pranks. Please don’t do this.
